More Maths

We also tried to work out the area of the Valley and then the whole school. We used trundle wheels to measure the perimeter of these big 'shapes'

Maths this week

We have been looking at Area this week in Maths. We tried to find the area of composite shapes. Some students measured the perimeter and used the formula (lxw) when possible. Others used based ten materials and covered their shape to see how much area it took up.
